The aim of the project was to build a new concept of public space through redevelopment and enhancement of the Town Hall Square. A space where citizens will find it easy to identify their roles and recognize the opportunities the city offers them:
● A place truly open to all citizens
● Capable of fostering culture, economic development, and social progress in the area
● Able to create moments of community gathering
Piazza Aldo MPiazza Aldo Moro was conceived and designed to enhance the sense of belonging and community. All proposals aim to overcome the sense of disorientation that hinders integration and promote inclusion instead.
To encourage citizens to reclaim public spaces, avoiding creating self-referential, unnecessary, and detrimental places is crucial. In this sense, the choice was made to combine activities within this urban space that contribute to personal growth and establishing relationships.
