Eternal Sunshine is exactly the type of project we love to undertake because simply working in a historic center allows us to discover the hidden treasures of our city.
Before our project, the apartment was divided into many small rooms, which denied its natural potential, given the presence of numerous south-facing windows along a prestigious tree-lined avenue.
The design challenge was mainly to reclaim light as a natural element that is also architectural, as it generates colour, expansiveness, harmony, and surprise.
In restyling the apartment, we had fun using colors, clearly the protagonists of the space. Vivid colors like copper orange enter into an almost total white environment with the same intensity as a sunbeam, making a difference in warming up the living area. Or delicate touches of aquamarine green that tint surfaces of custom furnishings in one of the two bathrooms create that perfect relaxed atmosphere. Whether paints or wallpapers, bursts of colour frequently recur in various details of the house, defining unexpected and special corners, like small injections of cheerfulness for those who will live there.
Every design choice and finish, from the corten of the entrance stairs to the striped oak that conceals the wardrobes in the sleeping area, was made to enrich the spaces, balance proportions, and define the areas. Above all, it was designed to welcome and give a sense of belonging to the new owners.
