Everything is connected: shadow and light, negative and positive, black and white, love and pain, beautiful and ugly, because true harmony is reached also through the acceptance of the balance between different moments.
The project sees the reconversion of an old stable in a new residence, spread over two floors.
The design intention was to maintain the original imprint, enhancing the authentic materials but, at the same time, providing a contemporary feel to the outcome.
On the dark resin floor, rest the old stone steps that lead to the first floor whose masonry has been left exposed and treated uniformly with the rest of the vertical surfaces while the external facades have been entirely preserved and maintained both in appearance material that formal.
The result speaks of environments that, although designed and modeled as a single organism, manage to evoke heterogeneous sensations: this is the result of spaces full of their own identity, also thanks to the continuous dialogue between inside and outside.
