The project aims to significantly enhance cycling and pedestrian mobility, focusing on integrating existing paths and promoting the use of slow modes of transport. The goal is to create routes facilitating easy and safe connections between the city's main attractions near the Lucca train station, encouraging sustainable and environmentally friendly travel.

A central aspect of the project is establishing resting areas for citizens along the cycling and pedestrian paths. These areas will feature shelters integrated with public water fountains. This intervention increases user comfort and safety and fosters spaces for social interaction and gatherings, further enhancing the cycling and pedestrian network as a high-quality urban infrastructure.
